The platform the NPT CRM pipeline runs on. I stood it up, and I own it end to end.

  • CI/CD PipelineInstituted the pipeline for continuous development, testing, and releases across the CRM team.
  • Code ScanStatic code analysis wired in as a gate, so problems surface before a reviewer opens the change.
  • Build AgentSelf-hosted build execution for validation and deployment jobs inside the pipeline.
  • BackupLed the migration from Own Secure to Gearset Backup when Own Backup was sunset.

Implementations of both, covering the repository model and the automation on top of it.

  • Azure DevOpsRepository structure, pipelines, and work item flow into the release process.
  • GitHubBranching strategy, GitHub Actions authoring, environment-gated deployments. This site runs on it.
  • Branching & PR gatingLong-lived environment branches, promotion paths, and required checks before a merge lands.

Jira & Jira Service Management

Owned the rearchitecture and rollout of both. This is the layer that made department-wide metrics possible.

  • Jira rearchitectureRebuilt project and workflow structure so delivery work could be tracked consistently across teams.
  • Jira Service ManagementRolled out JSM alongside Jira to bring intake and delivery into one system.
  • JSM Help PortalBuilt the portal end users file through, replacing scattered intake channels.
  • Center of Excellence DashboardThe rearchitecture is what made this possible. Clean data in Jira is the prerequisite for real reporting.

  1. Salesforce DevOps Engineer

    Current

    National Philanthropic Trust · IT Delivery, CRM Team

    Nov 2024 to Present

    • Instituted a Gearset CI/CD pipeline for continuous development, testing, and releases.
    • Orchestrated over 150 releases over the course of 2025, doubling the CRM team's previous release cadence.
    • Enforced intelligent gating in the SDLC, including static code analysis, AI/LLM scanning, and peer review standardization.
    • Led the migration from Own Secure to Gearset Backup upon the sunset of Own Backup.
    • Owned the rearchitecture and rollout of Jira and the JSM Help Portal, which allowed for the creation of a Center of Excellence Dashboard.
    • Helped found the first IT Delivery Center of Excellence and built the Center of Excellence Metrics Dashboard to generate reporting of value-based metrics like DORA, velocity, and transformation progress across IT.

    • Worked with a team of functional and software developers to deliver updates and newly designed products to product owners.
    • Built React-based Lightning Web Components for a web application allowing customers to create applications for the USDA ReConnect grant program.
    • Supported USDA, VA, and HHS clients to help drive government processes, grant programs, and employee management systems and platforms.

  3. Student Intern

    C5ISR Command, Power, and Integration (U.S. Army)

    Sep 2019 to Apr 2021 · Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

    Secret clearance. Intermittent, 40 hours a week across three terms.

    • Worked with a team of 4 to implement new messaging protocols and messaging testing suites for use in training warfighters and in the battlefield.
    • Used Java and JavaFX to implement a new testing dashboard and messaging protocol, and JIRA to manage version control.

  • Managed a development scrum team of 4 to successfully design, implement, and deploy the Evaluation Criteria webpage for USDA's ReConnect portal.
  • Assisted with the design phase, ticket writing, developing, and testing of brand new functionality for the ReConnect portal.
